Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Product Design & Innovation Analyst to join the R&D/Innovation Management team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support development, validation and industrialization of new products and technologies, working with manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams to meet quality and customer requirements.

We welcome graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in R&D or product development, fluent in English, and eager to learn about systematic validation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
• Open to recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in R&D, product development, manufacturing, or a technical environment.
• Demonstrated interest in product development, innovation, sustainability, or manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of R&D projects from concept through validation and industrialization.
• Conduct laboratory testing, product validation and performance assessments.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports and qualification protocols.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites to support scale-up activities and product launches.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities during industrial trials and product implementation.
• Support cost innovation and sustainability initiatives through material, process and design improvements.
• Work closely with Innovation, Expert Centers and Operations teams to ensure project alignment.
• Analyze technical data and provide recommendations to support decision making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain awareness of market trends, customer needs and emerging technologies.
• Support business continuity and security of supply initiatives when required.
