The Member Company is a global high-tech consultancy offering engineering, science and digital services. We seek an R&D Engineer Physics to tackle complex challenges by building models and conducting hands-on experiments.

You will investigate physical behaviour, develop models and validate them with real data, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while taking ownership from start to finish. Fluency in English is essential, Dutch preferred, and full-time on-site at Venlo.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Applied Physics or Physics.
• 0-3 years of industry experience.
• Experience with modelling, experiments and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and curious mindset.
• Independent, result-driven and proactive work style.
• Strong sense of ownership over projects.
• Fluent English and preferably Dutch for collaboration.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site at the Venlo office.

Responsabilités

• Develop physical and mathematical models for research challenges.
• Design, execute and analyse experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Validate models using measurements and experimental data.
• Translate complex technical problems into clear hypotheses and solutions.
• Work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Take ownership from initial investigation to validated result.
