Job summary

QuantWare is building the world's most powerful quantum processors and seeks an RF Design Engineer to own microwave component design, high-density PCB layouts, and packaging for large-scale QPUs. You will automate workflows, validate models, and push for manufacturability in a hybrid office setup.

The role requires MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering with RF focus, 4+ years of RF experience, and strong RF fundamentals including S-parameters and Smith chart.

Qualifications

  • Education in electrical engineering with RF/microwave focus.
  • Hands-on RF engineering experience in deep-tech or low-volume hardware.
  • Strong fundamentals in RF, S-parameters, impedance and matching.

Responsibilities

  • Component & Mechanical Design: design electromechanical RF components and PCB interconnects.
  • Precision Engineering: CAD-based PCB and chip layout work within VIO architecture.
  • RF/Microwave Design: solve insertion loss, impedance matching, and cross-talk at PCB/package levels.
  • Automation & Scripting: automate design generation and implement design rules.
