ALARA is seeking a Quality Controller / Quality Inspector to uphold the highest quality standards across products and projects. You will perform visual and dimensional checks, inspect incoming and finished goods, and prepare quality documentation.

You will also guide staff on quality awareness and safety, and travel for supplier inspections as needed. You report to the Programme Director for Product Quality and join a dedicated Quality Control team that values accuracy, continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Technical qualification at MBO4 level (e.g. Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics)
• Proven work experience in a QC role within engineering or production
• Knowledge of relevant standards and quality management systems
• Experience with digital measuring instruments and reading technical drawings
• Certificates such as VCA-VOL and VT-2 are an advantage
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Independent, proactive, able to cope with pressure, meticulous and results-oriented, with strong planning and organisational skills
• Driving licence

Responsabilités

• Carrying out visual checks and dimensional inspections.
• Checking incoming goods, semi-finished products and finished products.
• The preparation and management of quality reports, certificates and technical documentation.
• Identifying and reporting anomalies.
• Maintaining contact with suppliers and production regarding quality improvements.
• Coaching staff in developing awareness of quality and safety.
• Help to draw up and ensure compliance with procedures relating to quality and safety.
• Carrying out inspections at suppliers’ premises both at home and abroad, travels may be required.
