Job summary

Michael Page is assisting an international engineering and manufacturing organisation in Krimpen aan den IJssel, Netherlands, to appoint a Quality Engineer. You will analyse production processes, perform quality control, investigate complaints and collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

You will prepare weekly and monthly quality reports, maintain the QMS and drive a culture of continuous improvement; fluency in English and strong analytical skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical engineering field.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and the 8D methodology.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and QA principles.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret process and production data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication across departments and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production processes, quality performance and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform statistical quality and process control to support data-driven decisions.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities using structured RCA methodologies.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions with production and engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and process stability.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports.
• Support maintenance, optimisation and compliance of the QMS.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability across the organisation.
