Job summary

CS GROUP in the Rotterdam area, the Netherlands, is expanding its Quality team with a QA Engineer focused on operational quality assurance in production and development. You will be actively involved on the shopfloor and within projects to ensure products, processes, and documentation meet required standards.

You will perform key inspections, release materials, handle non-conformances, and lead root cause analyses with CAPA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA on production or high-tech environments.
• Experience with non-conformance handling and inspections.
• Familiar with quality methods such as FMECA / reliability analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as QA focal point on the shopfloor during production, assembly, and testing.
• Perform keypoint inspections, incoming inspections, and acceptance inspections.
• Release materials, components, and products for further processing or delivery.
• Manage and assess non-conformities (NCRs) and deviation reports.
• Perform root cause analyses (e.g. 8D) and follow up on corrective actions (CAPA).
• Support and review change requests and implementation of changes.
• Contribute to and maintain project quality plans.
• Execute and follow up on internal and external audits.
• Support FMECA, reliability analyses, and RAMS-related activities.
• Ensure proper registration and follow-up of actions and improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN / Six Sigma mindset).
• Support calibration and control of measurement equipment.
