Job summary

Talentmark is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join an international pharmaceutical company in Breda. You will review SAP Master Data, BOMs, and artwork for medicinal products to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality.

The role welcomes juniors and recent graduates; training is provided before independent work. Expect 40 hours/week with around 1–1.5 months of training requiring 3–4 days onsite per week, then minimum 2 onsite days (Thursday mandatory).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, QA, or a related field.
• Junior candidates welcome; QA experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA review and approval of SAP Master Data, including critical value verification and BOM.
• Review and approve artwork for medicinal products, including packaging materials and labels.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create, review, and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Identify, investigate, and elevate data integrity or quality issues.
• Support QA projects, investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance metrics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Global Artwork Center, Master Data, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and QA Management.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate to join an international pharmaceutical company in Breda.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving SAP Master Data, Bill of Materials (BOM), and artwork for medicinal products. You will help ensure that all information is accurate, compliant, and meets the required quality standards.

The right mindset is more important than years of experience. Whether you are a recent graduate or already have experience in Quality Assurance, we are looking for someone who works accurately, takes ownership, and understands the importance of compliance. You will receive thorough training to become familiar with the processes and systems before working independently.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform QA review and approval of SAP Master Data, including critical value verification and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Review and approve artwork for medicinal products, including packaging materials and labels.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create, review, and maintain operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• Identify, investigate, and elevate data integrity or quality-related issues.
• Support QA-related projects, investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance metrics and maintain departmental performance boards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Global Artwork Center, Master Data, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and QA Management.

The position mainly involves detailed reviews, verification, and approval activities. You should therefore enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

What We Are Looking For

• An MBO, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Junior candidates and recent graduates are welcome. Previous QA experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
• A strong quality and compliance mindset, with an understanding of the importance of following procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and systematically.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an international team.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to recognize, communicate, and elevate potential issues.

About the Team

You will join an international Quality Assurance team of approximately 10 colleagues, with around 4 team members performing similar activities.

The team works closely together, shares responsibilities, and supports each other in maintaining high-quality standards.

Practical Information

• Contract duration: 6 months, with no guaranteed extension.
• Working hours: 40 hours per week.
• Training period: Approximately 1–1.5 months, requiring 3–4 days onsite per week.
• After training: Minimum 2 days onsite per week, mandatory onsite day is Thursday.
• Start date: As soon as possible. A notice period of approximately 1 month is acceptable.
