Job summary

Keyrus is seeking a Python Developer to build and maintain backend components that are reliable, scalable and production-ready. You will work across the development lifecycle, from implementing backend logic and APIs to testing, debugging and improving performance.

Role based in Zaandam, Netherlands with a Hybrid model (2 days on-site per week). Contract type: Contractor B2B – 12 months. Start ASAP. Compensation: up to 360 EUR per day.

What You'll Architect

As a Python Developer, you'll help build and maintain backend components that are reliable, scalable and ready for real-world use. You'll work across the development lifecycle, from implementing backend logic and APIs to testing, debugging and improving application performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Build and maintain backend components and application logic using Python.
• Design, develop and maintain REST APIs.

Qualifications & Experience

Must have:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience developing backend applications and REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Technical & Professional Skills

You Should Be Comfortable Working With

• At least one Python backend framework such as Django, FastAPI or Flask

• Basic knowledge of at least one cloud environment: AWS, Azure or GCP
