Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Management & Consultancy professional in the Netherlands to lead and support a range of real estate projects. You will organize design through execution, focusing on schedule, budget and quality while driving sustainable outcomes.

The role requires a HBO+ or WO in civil engineering and at least 4 years of experience in project management/consulting. Excellent Dutch and English communication are essential, with hybrid working arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• HBO+ or WO degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with contracts and procurement procedures is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage projects from design through execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead simple projects independently and support senior colleagues on more complex assignments, covering maintenance, energy-saving measures, renovation, redevelopment, new construction or temporary housing.
• Set up projects and ensure they run smoothly from design to execution within agreed parameters.
• Create clear project definitions and frameworks, paying attention to GROTIK aspects.
• Monitor progress and report on it, e.g. through decision-making and phase documents.
• Advise on construction organization and procurement strategy; conduct market consultations and select architects, advisers and contractors.
• Guide the design process to ensure ideas remain practically viable.
• Organize and lead meetings at operational, tactical and strategic levels, ensuring decisions are documented.
• Direct the realization phase focusing on schedule, quality and budget.
• Place sustainability at the core of your approach and motivate and inspire others to create sustainable impact.

Project Management & Consultancy

Within the Project Management & Consultancy advisory group, you will work in a team of more than 30 advisers and construction project managers, spanning several Dutch locations with Amersfoort as a central hub. The focus is on sustainable, future‑proof solutions.
