Over SOCOTEC Geotechnics

Socotec Geotechnics offers comprehensive advice in geotechnics, geohydrology, environmental science and environmental protection. It starts with thorough soil investigations to accurately assess site conditions. Based on this, specialized foundation advice is provided. Our expertise is applied in residential construction, infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels), dikes, waterworks and large urban construction projects.

We are also experts in the design of excavations and dykes, perform detailed stability calculations and evaluate impacts on surrounding areas with risk analyses and the development of suitable control measures.

We also conduct geomonitoring activities, including extensive groundwater monitoring networks and support for foundation and earthworks.

The company is located in Almelo, Rotterdam, Son en Breugel (Eindhoven) and Woubrugge. In Rotterdam and Son en Breugel (Eindhoven) our geotechnical laboratories are housed.

Vacatureomschrijving

Socotec Geotechnics is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager Groundwater Monitoring for 32‑40 hours per week, at the Rotterdam and/or Son en Breugel (Eindhoven) office.

Responsibilities include leading complex projects concerning groundwater monitoring. You will ensure effective execution and management of the entire project process with a focus on scheduling, budgeting and quality. You will monitor progress, anticipate risks and facilitate smooth collaboration between clients, suppliers and operational teams.

• Oversee project progress, planning and quality and make adjustments where needed.
• Maintain contact with water boards, provinces, municipalities and other authorities.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal technical teams for execution of monitoring projects.
• Support tender processes, primarily by drafting approaches and quality documents, working closely with the colleague leading these processes.
• Actively contribute to the development of our services and identify opportunities to strengthen our offerings in quality and scope.

• Experience in writing execution and quality plans.
