Job summary

Marine Service Noord seeks a Project Coordinator to bridge engineering, planning and people aboard luxury superyachts. You ensure fitters’ work is coordinated, responsibilities are clear and the schedule is closely monitored for efficient installation.

The role offers opportunities on international shipbuilding projects with close collaboration with the Project Manager, Engineering, Foreman and client. A technical background and fluent Dutch/English are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/MBO4 level education with relevant experience.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of fitters and ensure clear responsibilities.

As a Project Coordinator at Marine Service Noord you are the connecting link between engineering, planning and people. You make a real difference in the installation of mechanical systems aboard superyachts. The challenge

Within the superyacht industry, a diverse and challenging opportunity awaits at our client Oceanco. Complex installation projects, multiple disciplines and various parties working on board require strong organization and a close eye on progress. As a Project Coordinator, you ensure that the work of the fitters is well coordinated, responsibilities are clearly divided and the schedule is closely monitored. The ability to adapt quickly and set the right priorities when circumstances change is essential.

This role offers plenty of room for initiative and responsibility. You will contribute to a variety of international shipbuilding projects and have the opportunity to put your organizational skills and technical affinity into practice. Close collaboration with the Project Manager, Engineering, Foreman and client is essential. The combination of technology, a dynamic working environment and responsibility makes this a challenging and varied role. Together, you ensure that installation work on board the superyachts is carried out efficiently, accurately and in accordance with the agreed quality standards.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree-level working and thinking ability, with at least a completed technical vocational education (MBO 4 level);
• Several years of relevant work experience in a similar role and industry is preferred;
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings and schematics is an advantage;
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

We offer an attractive gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €4,400, depending on your education and experience. Based on a full-time position, you will receive 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days.
