Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager Post Tensioning (all genders).

Location: Zaltbommel

FTE/PTE: 32 - 40 hours per week (flexible)

What you will do

As a Project Manager at DYWIDAG you are responsible for the (technical and operational) preparation of and support for PT projects and orders. You play a crucial role within the organization in arranging, facilitating and monitoring the progress of projects and processing orders from A to Z. You are involved from the sales process to the actual implementation and completion. After a thorough onboarding process, the quality of your work creates confidence among internal and external stakeholders that the project and orders have been properly arranged.

As a Project Manager, you are mainly responsible for the following tasks:

  • Preparing, planning and elaborating projects in the field of prestressing technology;
  • Drawing up implementation plans;
  • Checking technical drawings and creating pull-out lists;
  • Acting as a contact person for all parties involved (such as suppliers, customers, colleagues who act in a sales role and colleagues working on projects and external parties);
  • Visiting projects and conducting on-site discussions;
  • Purchasing and ordering materials, intercompany and beyond;
  • Co-approving purchase invoices;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of the right materials to the projects, including transportation;
  • Signaling deliveries in coordination with invoicing;
  • Drawing up a clear personnel schedule;
  • Checking the weekly timesheets;
  • (Co-)organizing and monitoring relevant project documentation.

You will have regular work meetings with the Manager of the Dutch Business Unit on a structured basis, with a view to the progress of the project. You also have a lot of contact with the Financial Controller on deliveries to be invoiced, stock levels, documentation. You have daily contact with the Warehouse Manager on delivery status for materials. Furthermore, where necessary, you will liaise with the technicians who work on projects.

You are strongly involved in the execution of projects and the processing of orders and can therefore play chess on many boards at the same time, without losing sight of the overall process or a required procedure. You have excellent social skills to maintain external and intercompany contacts. You are good at dealing with preventing or solving conflicts in a timely manner. A positive stimulating attitude, persuasiveness and appropriate steering ability are important here, as are excellent qualities in organization and planning.

In this highly varied role, explicit requirements are set for the ability to work hands-on and structured. Creativity, improvisation and the ability to think and act outside the box are needed.

What is required
  • A completed HBO or MBO education in a relevant field (architecture, civil engineering) or comparable education in technical disciplines
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in construction-related business operations and in managing personnel
  • You have good communication skills
  • You work in a structured and process-oriented way, are used to peaks in your workload and deal with them with a calm working attitude
  • You can prioritize well, also by asking questions and listening carefully in case of problems, delays or conflicts
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of the German language is a plus
  • You have good knowledge in the field of automation: Sharepoint, MS Office, ERP Systems, e.g. Navision/Docuware or Dynamics/DocCapture
What do you get?
  • A competitive salary, depending on knowledge and work experience
  • 25 + 3 ATV vacation days
  • A good pension scheme
  • A professional, informal and collegial working environment with an eye for a healthy work-life balance
