Job summary

Robin Radar is seeking an I&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional development projects from concept to launch of radar technology. You’ll collaborate with Innovation & Development, Production, Product Management, Procurement, and external suppliers to deliver complex systems on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you’ll ensure all teams deliver their parts and uphold internal quality frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 6+ years contributing to development projects in an engineering role and 2+ years in a project management role.
  • Solid understanding of product development methodologies; Agile experience a plus.
  • Strong grasp of budget estimation, resource forecasting, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry quality standards; Fluent English (Dutch a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams.

As our I&D Project Manager, you lead cross-functional development projects that turn new ideas into market-ready radar technology.

You work side-by-side with our Innovation & Development teams, Production, Product Management, Procurement, and external suppliers to deliver complex systems on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you ensure every functional team delivers their part so our tech operates flawlessly when it counts.

What you'll do
  • Project planning and scoping: Collaborate cross-functionally to define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Build detailed project plans that balance timelines, resource allocation, and smart risk mitigation strategies.

  • Execution and delivery: Drive end-to-end execution across development, prototyping, and validation activities alongside dedicated I&D teams. Keep momentum strong from initial requirements all the way to market release.

  • Resource and financial oversight: Estimate project budgets and forecast future resource needs with precision. Ensure project deliverables meet strict internal quality frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Stakeholder alignment and reviews: Prepare and lead gate reviews by verifying all functional teams have their deliverables ready. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders across the business.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's or masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • 6+ years of experience contributing to development projects in an engineering role 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a project management role.

  • Solid understanding of product development methodologies, with Agile experience being a plus.

  • Strong grasp of budget estimation, resource forecasting, and risk management.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry quality standards Fluent English, both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus).

  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of guiding diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to work from our office with flexibility for remote work and occasional travel.
