Job summary

Vanguard-Tech, a maritime salvage and emergency response company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Emergency Towage Coordinator to support active salvage and towage cases on-site at shore-based operations. You will coordinate mobilisation, logistics, and communications across stakeholders.

The role requires direct marine salvage experience, strong cost-control and reporting skills, and the ability to work under pressure with short notice.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in marine salvage operations or salvage project management is mandatory.
• Experience coordinating personnel, vessels, tugs, and specialists during salvage or casualty response operations.
• Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and cost-control skills.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours during active cases.
• Immediate availability or ability to join at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel and tug mobilisation, scheduling, agents, and logistics.
• Liaise with Salvage Masters, tug operators, vessel owners, clients, insurers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate emergency towage arrangements and monitor operational readiness.
• Lead daily coordination calls and maintain clear operational updates and case records.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, project costs, and mobilisation requirements.
• Support invoicing, contractual variations, and project close-out.
• Identify operational issues early and escalate them to management.

Vanguard-Tech, a maritime salvage and emergency response company, is seeking an experienced professional with a proven background in marine salvage operations and salvage project coordination.

You will support active salvage and emergency towage cases, managing shore-side operational, logistical, commercial, and communication requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel and tug mobilisation, scheduling, agents, and logistics.
• Liaise with Salvage Masters, tug operators, vessel owners, clients, insurers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate emergency towage arrangements and monitor operational readiness.
• Lead daily coordination calls and maintain clear operational updates and case records.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, project costs, and mobilisation requirements.
• Support invoicing, contractual variations, and project close-out.
• Identify operational issues early and escalation them to management.

Essential Requirements

Knowledge of WRECKHIRE, TOWHIRE, and TOWCON is an advantage.
