SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
  • Project Engineer
  • € 3.200 – € 5.000 gross per month (depending on experience)
  • Working in Schiedam

Are you an ambitious starter or young professional with a passion for tackling complex challenges? Mammoet's Project Engineers are a key link in both effective project preparation and support during project execution. Together with your multidisciplinary colleagues from various engineering disciplines, such as Marine, Cranes, Transport, and Special Devices, you'll continuously strive for the safest and best solutions for our customers. Through theoretical training and practical experience, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in vertical and horizontal transport.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Take ownership of the tasks at hand and work closely with project managers and (senior) engineers to find the right solution for the project.
  • Design and develop innovative, cost-effective, and safe horizontal and vertical transport and/or lifting solutions that truly make an impact.
  • Challenge yourself to find creative solutions using existing machinery and materials from our own fleet.
  • Create your own drawings, calculations, and method statements using various software packages, such as AutoCAD and in-house developed software.
  • Perform strength and stability calculations for the required materials and machinery.
  • If necessary, you will travel to (global) project locations to provide practical technical support and further develop your skills.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • English, fluent in writing and speaking;
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience;
  • Willingness to travel to projects locally and internationally;
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Automotive.
