CERTUS Port Automation is seeking a Project Engineer to independently prepare deliverable projects within time and budget, under the supervision of the Manager Operations. The role spans design, specifications, and execution, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and ISO/NEN standards.
You will work both in the office and on-site, including occasional international assignments, and report to the project manager while contributing to a dynamic automation team.
As Project Engineer you are responsible for independently carrying out preparations for deliverable projects. All tasks must be completed within the agreed time and budget. You will work under the supervision of the Manager Operations.

This role of Project Engineer focuses on project preparation and execution. You will deal with many (technical) sub‑areas. You provide technical advice and ensure the technical elaboration. You perform administrative registration tasks. A high degree of accuracy is required. Time pressure may occur due to project agreements.
You plan your own schedule based on the assigned work. You work within existing ISO, VCA, and Health & Safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and the Personnel Handbook. The complexity of problems varies and may require several years of experience for specific tasks.

You work both in the office and on-site. Activities regularly take place abroad.
