Job summary

Wefabricate in the Netherlands seeks a Project Coordinator to own NPI end-to-end, from quotation to series production. You’ll be on-site in Duizel or Best with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset and a technical HBO background.

You will coordinate across Commercial and Operations, serve as the main customer contact during NPI, and help select production processes to accelerate time-to-market.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO (Bachelor's) degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Affinity with manufacturing processes and product design.
• Strong communication skills across disciplines and seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the NPI phase from start to finish: planning, quality and progress, from kickoff to product release.
• Become the customer's primary point of contact during NPI.
• Keep Commercial and Operations aligned throughout NPI by talking directly to whoever needs to hear it.
• Make sure the Account Coordinator is introduced to the customer in time for a smooth handover to series production (LCM).
• Give DFM feedback during the quotation phase, before NPI officially starts.
• Once a project moves into NPI, help make the product ready for manufacturing and determine which manufacturing process fits it best.

As Project Coordinator, you're the operational lead on every project you run, owning NPI end to end: from your input during the quotation phase, through kickoff, to the moment the product is released and ready for series production. You're based on-site in Duizel or Best. This is a role for someone early in their career: we look for a technical (HBO) background and a hands‑on, pragmatic mindset, and we train you into the role ourselves. What you'll do

NPI is where a product moves from design and quotation to something the factory can actually build reliably, and every part of that phase runs through you. You:

own execution of the NPI phase from start to finish: planning, quality and progress, from kickoff to product release, without needing sign‑off to keep things moving

become the customer's primary point of contact during NPI, taking over from the Business Developer after kickoff

keep Commercial and Operations aligned throughout NPI by talking directly to whoever needs to hear it, not through layers

make sure the Account Coordinator is introduced to the customer in time for a smooth handover to series production (LCM) once NPI wraps up

give DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback during the quotation phase, before NPI officially starts, non‑binding but backed by real manufacturing insight

once a project moves into NPI, help make the product ready for manufacturing and determine which manufacturing process fits it best

Hands‑on affinity with manufacturing processes, or a strong drive to learn them fast

Some experience with, or a genuine interest in, product design

Strong in customer communication, and you genuinely care about customer satisfaction

You communicate just as directly with an operator on the floor as with a director; status doesn't change how you treat people

You do what you say you'll do, to customers and colleagues alike, even when it's inconvenient

Technically pragmatic: you'd rather figure it out and get it done than overthink it
