Job summary

ERIKS in Alkmaar zoekt een Prep & Finish Operator voor de Sealing & Polymer afdeling. Je werkt nauwkeurig aan het voorbereiden en afwerken van onderdelen, met aandacht voor kwaliteit en veiligheid.

Tijdens de dagdienst van 07:30–16:00 of 08:00–16:30 voer je schoonmaak, zandstralen, primer aanbrengen en ijsstralen uit, met producten tot circa 30 kg. Vereisten: beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels en een technische instelling.

Qualifications

• Je beheerst Engels (minimaal schriftelijk en mondeling).
• Vmbo-diploma of gelijkwaardig niveau.
• Fysieke conditie en nauwkeurigheid bij werkzaamheden.

Responsibilities

• Verantwoordelijk voor voorbereidings- en afwerkingsactiviteiten van onderdelen.
• Schoonmaken, zandstralen en primer aanbrengen tijdens de prep-fase; ijsstralen in de finish-fase.
• Zorgen voor conformiteit aan kwaliteitsnormen en samenwerking met collega’s.

For the Sealing & Polymer department, we are looking for an enthusiastic Prep & Finish Operator. You will join a dynamic team where quality, precision, and collaboration are key. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that products are carefully prepared and finished, meeting the highest quality standards.

As a Prep & Finish Operator, you are responsible for various activities within the production process. During the prep phase, you clean metal parts using special fluids, sandblast components to optimally prepare the surface, clean them again, and apply a primer. During the finish phase, you use ice blasting to complete the final treatment of the products before they move on to the next stage of the process. You work accurately according to established quality guidelines and, together with your colleagues, ensure that every product is delivered in perfect condition.

You will work a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday during day shifts, from 07:30 to 16:00 or from 08:00 to 16:30. For this position, it is important that you are physically fit and comfortable handling products weighing up to approximately 30 kilograms. In addition, you work carefully, have technical insight, and have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
