Job summary

Snack Connection in Giessen zoekt een Production Worker / Operator die meewerkt aan de productie van noten en snacks. Je werkt op de productielijn met moderne machines, door het hele proces en in een 3-ploegendienst van maandag tot en met vrijdag, met af en toe zaterdag.

Je taken bestaan uit opzetten, bedienen en controleren van machines, mengen en coating, controleren op kwaliteit en werken aan een nette werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 1 jaar ervaring in productie, bij voorkeur als operator in voedingsindustrie.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands of Engels.
• Eigen woonruimte in Nederland en eigen vervoer.

Responsibilities

• Uitvoeren van productie taken op de productielijn.
• OPzetten, bedienen en monitoren van machines.
• Mengen en coaten van verschillende noten en snacks.
• Kwaliteitscontrole en afwijkingen signaleren.
• Schoon en ordelijk houden van machines en werkplek.
• Ondersteunen in diverse productieafdelingen indien nodig.

Over de functie

As a Production Worker / Operator, you will contribute to the production process of various nuts and snacks. You will start by performing operational tasks on the production line and may also be deployed in other areas of production, such as mixing and coating. This way, you are part of the line from start to finish! Together with your colleagues, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the products are of good quality.

Your tasks:

• Performing production tasks on the production line;
• Setting up, operating, and monitoring the machines;
• Mixing and coating various nuts and snacks;
• Checking product quality and identifying deviations;
• Keeping machines and your work environment clean and tidy;
• Assisting in various departments as needed.

You will work full-time in a 3-shift system from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. Naturally, you will receive extra pay for this! The working hours are as follows:

Morning shift: 06:00 to 14:45
Afternoon shift: 14:00 to 22:45
Night shift: 22:00 to 06:45

• You have your own accomodation in The Netherlands. For this job we don't provide housing;
• Own transport. In case you don't have your own transport, Carrière can think with you;
• At least 1 year of experience in production, preferably as an operator in the food industry;
• Good command of the Dutch or English language;
• You are accurate, quick-thinking, and driven;
• You are flexible and available for 3-shift rotation and occasionally on Saturdays.
