Job summary

Versteden B.V. is looking for a practical and motivated newcomer to help manufacture fiberglass-reinforced plastic pipe components. You will wind, laminate, press collars, pipefit, or mirror weld using professional tools, starting with on-the-job training.

Successful candidates are energetic, precise, and team players who read technical drawings and are comfortable with Dutch and/or English. The role offers a stable day shift and a clear path toward growth into a foreman position for field

Qualifications

• Reading technical drawings is required; training is offered.
• On-the-job training provided at start.
• Practical, hands-on mentality and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Winding, laminating, pressing collars, pipefitting, or mirror welding with professional tools.
• Contribute to making fiberglass-reinforced plastic pipe components (25–2000 mm dia).
• Support potential growth into foreman role for field assembly if desired.

Are you technical, reliable, and skilled in craftsmanship? Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable world and are you curious about the possibilities of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) piping systems?

This is your challenge!

At Versteden, you will create fiberglass-reinforced plastic pipe components from fiberglass and resin, such as pipes with diameters ranging from 25 to 2000 mm, flanges, and fittings. Your tasks will include:

• Winding, laminating, pressing collars, pipefitting, or (mirror) welding using professional tools.
• You will start with on-the-job training.
• You will focus on what you enjoy and are good at, with potential for growth into a foreman role for field assembly (if desired).

What you bring to the table:

• You are energetic, motivated, precise, and a team player.
• You have a technical education at VMBO or MBO level (a diploma is not required).
• You are a recent graduate or have experience with (steel) pipes or technical skills from another field, such as working with motorcycles or cars.
• You are handy and practical.
• You have no trouble reading technical drawings (but we can teach you this too).
• You speak, read, and write Dutch and/or English.
