Job summary

Optics11 in Amsterdam is seeking a Production Technician to join our high-tech team. We offer full-time roles, with the option for part-time arrangements as well, in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

You will own the production process from start to finish, assembling optical and mechanical components, electronics, and using production tools and testing setups. Calibration, testing, upgrades, debugging, and repairs are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• MBO-level technical skills with a strong interest in technology; training provided.
• Precise and structured worker with attention to detail.
• Technically skilled with strong critical thinking.
• Proactive and able to give feedback or input.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture the product from start to finish.
• Assemble optical and mechanical components and electronics.
• Perform mechanical and electronic calibration.
• Test sub-systems and complete systems; upgrades, debugging and repairs.
• Participate in internal production process improvements with engineers.
• Collaborate with development team to build prototypes and null series.

Are you passionate about technology and looking for an exciting role as a Production Technician? Join our unique high-tech organization in the heart of Amsterdam! We’re seeking dedicated individuals for full-time positions, but if you can only work part-time, that's perfectly fine too. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of our innovative team!

All our high-tech products are developed and manufactured in house. In this role you will be responsible for manufacturing the product from a start to finish. You will be working with and assembling optical and mechanical components and electronics where skill of patience is important.

Performing a mechanical and electronic calibration is also part of the job. In addition to this, you will also do testing of all sub and complete systems, as well as upgrades, debugging and repairs. This is not a high-volume repetitive job, but a job where you and your colleges are responsible for the whole production and testing processes from parts being delivered to shipping of finished product to the client.

A successful candidate will also participate in internal production process improvements with other production engineers and will work also with development team to improve our products and build prototypes and null series.
