Job summary

Werkis is seeking a Production Operator – Food Industry in the Netherlands. The role involves operating and monitoring the coating line that applies the final chocolate layer to biscuits, following recipes and quality standards to ensure products meet customer expectations.

You will contribute to product quality and process efficiency, performing quality checks and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in a HACCP-compliant setting. A 5-shift schedule with some 3-shift periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry, manufacturing or a technical production environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus but not required.

As a Production Operator – Food Industry, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the coating line where biscuits receive their final chocolate layer. You carefully follow recipes, production instructions and quality standards to ensure every product meets customer expectations.

Working as a Production Operator means taking responsibility for both product quality and process efficiency. You perform quality checks, monitor production parameters and contribute to a clean and safe working environment. Hygiene and food safety are essential in this role, and you work according to the HACCP guidelines.

You will mainly work in a 5-shift schedule, with some periods in a 3-shift rotation. This position offers plenty of variety, responsibility and opportunities to develop your technical and operational skills within the food manufacturing industry.
