Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Product Security Engineer II in Amsterdam to help establish the company as a trusted player in the global trade ecosystem. You will design secure-by-default patterns, build security tooling, and work closely with product teams across the software lifecycle.

You'll analyze threats, contribute to threat modeling, and drive remediation with developers, SREs, and security peers while staying current on web and cloud security trends.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of product/security experience.
• Strong web app security knowledge and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or browser tools.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
• Cloud provider knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with SAST tools (Cycode, Semgrep, Snyk).
• Experience improving developer experience (DevEx) security without slowing teams down.

Responsibilities

• Build guardrails and secure-by-default patterns for developers.
• Develop and maintain security tooling and automation at scale.
• Respond to emerging threats and secure development lifecycle.
• Lead security reviews and collaborate with engineering on feature testing.
• Triage, reproduce, and validate bug bounty submissions and internal reports.
• Create runbooks and security documentation for the team.
