Your job

As Product Owner, you are accountable for maximising the value of the Credit Risk Monitoring & Risk Assessment product domain. • Build the governance, ownership and collaboration model needed for effective programme execution.
Working environment

You will join the Financial Risk Grid and work with product owners, Business Developers, and IT solution designers and engineers, data specialists and credit risk experts. The product domain spans obligor monitoring, portfolio oversight and risk assessment, with direct links to origination, provisions, capital and reporting.

The strategic programme is in an intensive set-up and delivery phase. You will operate in a fast-paced, highly connected environment where choices quickly move into implementation and where clear leadership, learning agility and decisive collaboration are essential.

  • Outcome ownership: take accountability from strategic intent through implementation, adoption and measurable value.
  • Constructive challenge: identify the question behind the question and challenge assumptions with evidence.
  • Leadership in ambiguity: create structure, governance and momentum while the programme and teams are still evolving.
  • Learning agility: absorb new credit risk, data and technology concepts quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Executive communication: communicate decisions, trade-offs, risks and progress with clarity and authority.
  • Domain leadership: combine product leadership with credible knowledge of the credit risk value chain, monitoring and risk assessment.
Experience and expertise
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, Data or a comparable field.
  • Significant experience in Product Ownership, Product Management or a comparable delivery leadership role.
  • Proven experience translating strategy into roadmaps, backlogs and concrete results.
  • Experience leading complex change in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps delivery and complex business and IT landscapes.
  • Strong analytical judgement and the ability to make evidence-based product decisions.
  • Ability to prepare clear decision papers, roadmap updates and formal communications for senior management, audit and regulatory audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end credit risk value chain, including origination, assessment, monitoring, early-warning, risk classification, remediation and reporting.
  • Proven experience in Credit Risk Monitoring, Risk Assessment or a closely related credit risk domain within banking.
