Job summary

bunq is seeking a Product Lead - Credit to own the full lifecycle of our credit offerings, from ideation to international launch. You will drive market expansion, shape the user journey with design and engineering, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You’ll partner with legal, risk, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, hybrid workspace, delivering simple, transparent credit experiences for users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Proven skills and a strong track record in product management.
• Deep knowledge of banking infrastructure, payment systems, and consumer credit mechanics.
• Experience dealing with regulators and preparing compliance documentation for financial products.
• Fluent in English and able to collaborate in a global team.

As Product Lead - Credit, you’ll play a critical role in building a product that truly supports our users' lifestyles. You'll be the driving force behind the mission: "Give me a credit line to support my lifestyle."

Own the entire product lifecycle for our credit offerings, from designing and implementing the product and its underlying infrastructure to continuous maintenance and improvement.

Drive the strategic launch and expansion of our credit products into our current and new markets, navigating the unique complexities of each region.

Obsess over the user journey, collaborating with design and engineering teams to craft a world-class, seamless, and bug-free credit experience.

Work hand-in-hand with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure our credit products are not only innovative but also fully compliant with all regulatory requirements.

This challenge is perfect for you if

You have proven skills and a strong track record in product management, especially within the fintech or banking space.

You possess a deep knowledge of banking infrastructure, payment systems, and the core mechanics of consumer credit products.

You're experienced in dealing with regulators and are comfortable preparing and managing compliance documentation for financial products.

Fluent in English – Communicate effectively in a global team, ensuring collaboration and clarity across all project stages.
