Job summary

Riverty in Amsterdam (and Berlin) seeks an experienced Product Leader to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the risk decisioning platform across Europe. You will report to the Platform Product Lead and collaborate with risk strategy, risk analytics, engineering, and product teams to enable real-time credit and fraud decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product leadership experience in risk, credit, or financial services.
• Expertise in credit risk, fraud prevention, or lending operations.
• Knowledge of consumer credit regulation shaping product and platform decisions.
• Experience leading product teams across legacy and modern systems to a scalable platform.
• Strong stakeholder management to align competing priorities across commercial, technical, and regulatory teams.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for our risk decisioning platform, turning demand from risk, commercial, and technology teams into a clear, prioritized plan.
• Lead and grow a team of product managers, while building a culture of strong risk domain expertise.
• Drive platform stability, modernization, and scalability, managing technical debt and infrastructure improvements.
• Decide how business and regulatory requirements translate into technical designs and service commitments.
• Own intake and prioritization for new requests, making transparent trade-off calls and escalating where needed.
• Keep stakeholders aligned through regular communication and reporting, and ensure the platform meets upcoming regulatory deadlines.

As part of the Product Organisation serving the Payments and Credit Business Unit in Riverty, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Riverty's risk decisioning platform, the technology that powers real-time credit and fraud decisions across our payments and credit products. You will report to the overall Platform Product Lead and work closely with risk strategy, risk analytics, engineering, and product teams across other domains.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your mission: lead the evolution of a risk platform that scales reliably, meets regulatory requirements, and enables best-in-class automated credit and fraud decisions across Europe.

• Own the product roadmap for our risk decisioning platform, turning demand from risk, commercial, and technology teams into a clear, prioritized plan
• Lead and grow a team of product managers, while building a culture of strong risk domain expertise
• Drive platform stability, modernization, and scalability, managing technical debt and infrastructure improvements along the way
• Decide how business and regulatory requirements translate into technical designs and service commitments
• Own intake and prioritization for new requests, making transparent trade-off calls and escalating where needed
• Keep stakeholders aligned through regular communication and reporting, and ensure the platform meets upcoming regulatory deadlines

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of product leadership experience in risk, credit, or financial services, with a track record of setting strategy and leading through regulatory change and large platform transformations
• Strong domain expertise in credit risk, fraud prevention, or lending operations, including scoring, decisioning, credit limits, and portfolio management
• Working knowledge of consumer credit regulation and how it shapes product and platform decisions
• Experience building and leading product teams, and managing a mix of legacy and modern systems toward a scalable, modernized platform
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to turn competing priorities from commercial, technical, and regulatory teams into a clear roadmap
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
