Job summary

Bolton is seeking a Process Technologist for the Operations Team in the Adhesives Business Unit, based in Goes, Netherlands. You will act as the site subject-matter expert for manufacturing processes, process capability and scale-up, balancing hands-on production support with structured process improvement and technical project execution.

English language required, Dutch preferred. You will lead transfer of new products from R&D to production, support capital projects, and contribute to factory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process technology or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in chemical, adhesives, coatings or formulation-based processes is preferred.
• English language required; Dutch is advantageous.

We are looking for Process Technologist to join our Operations Team in our Adhesives Business Unit based in Netherlands.

How you make the difference

The Process Technologist is the site subject-matter expert for manufacturing processes, process capability and scale-up. The role combines hands-on production support with structured process improvement and technical project execution.

How your agenda looks like:

• Maintain and expand relationships with customers
• Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead the transfer of new products and formulations from R&D to Production
• Support capital investment projects and participate in factory improvement projects
• Improvements of production performance

Your team:

You will report to the SHEQ Manager and work closely together with the Operations, R&D and Engineering Team in Goes.

What makes you a great fit:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry or a comparable discipline; master's degree is an advantage
• Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in process technology, process engineering or manufacturing engineering within the chemical, adhesive, coatings, formulation-based or comparable process industry
• Technical skills: Mixing, rheology/viscosity, pumping, dosing, scale-up, process validation and production equipment.
• Project skills, Digital skills, Analytical and Stakeholdermanagement
• Language: English and preferable Dutch
