Job summary

ENTER is seeking a Process Technologist to join our Production Engineering team in the Netherlands. You will translate innovative ideas from R&D into scalable production processes and contribute to continuous improvement using DFMEA, DoE, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma.

You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, document work instructions, and train production staff while focusing on electrochemistry-enabled processes and practical, hands-on implementation in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in a high-tech environment.
• Hands-on experience in modifying or building process systems.
• Knowledge of electrochemistry (non-petrochemical).

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions for new processes and products, including verification and validation.
• Analyze process performance and data to drive continuous improvement (DFMEA, DoE, SPC, Lean Six Sigma).
• Collaborate effectively across disciplines and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure smooth transfer of processes to production with detailed work instructions and training.

Job description

Working as a Process Technologist through ENTER means taking on a dynamic and diverse role that blends theory with practice. You contribute to turning innovative ideas into high-quality production and play a key part in continuously improving processes within a technologically advanced environment.

Working as a Process Technologist through ENTERENTER collaborates with a client that has a Production Engineering department serving as the vital link between innovation and manufacturing. Within this department, a team Technologists ensures that new ideas and concepts developed by R&D and Application Engineering are successfully translated into scalable production processes. In addition, the department plays a key role in optimizing and industrializing both existing and new processes. Each technologist brings their own area of expertise, including new product development, lithography, electrodeposition, metrology, and operational excellence. Within the Production Engineering department you have a special focus on:

• Developing and detailing technical solutions for new processes and products, including verification and validation.
• Analyzing process performance and data to achieve continuous improvement, using methodologies such as (D)FMEA, DoE, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential in this role.
• The Process Technologist ensures a smooth transfer of processes to production, providing comprehensive work instructions and training. They also work closely within multidisciplinary project teams that bring together various departments and areas of expertise to drive innovation.

Are you someone with..

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Technology
• 3–5 years of experience in a high-tech environment
• hands‑on experience in modifying or building process systems
• knowledge of electrochemistry (non‑petrochemical focus)
• strong analytical skills, able to calculate fluid flows and perform mass balance analyses
• a practical mindset and willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams
• based in the region (local candidate preferred)
• fluent in English – Dutch or German is a plus
