Artsen zonder Grenzen Nederland is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist for an exciting one-year assignment in MSF OCA Finance, based in Amsterdam or Nairobi. You will join the new FUSE unit to turn a new finance model into practical tools and processes.

MSF Operational Centre Amsterdam (MSF OCA) is undergoing a reorganisation of its Finance Department. Historically organised along a split between Programs and Headquarters, Finance is moving towards an integrated, global functional model designed to better support MSF OCA's strategic direction.

This is an exciting one-year opportunity to help Finance work in a new way. As Process Improvement Specialist, you will join the new FUSE unit at an important moment in the Finance Structure Review implementation. You will help turn the new Finance model into practical ways of working by analysing detailed finance processes, understanding the underlying problem to solve, and designing practical tools and process improvements that can be handed over and sustainably used by finance teams in country programmes and HQ.
The role complements two existing Process Improvement Specialists and a Systems Support Specialist for our Country Programmes, all of whom report to the FUSE unit manager. We are particularly looking for someone with hands-on familiarity with the Microsoft landscape, including Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, advanced Excel, XML, and VBA/Python. Experience implementing AI tools or Microsoft Copilot into finance processes and applications would be a strong asset. The person should be able to combine finance process understanding with systematic thinking, user focus, and the ability to design solutions that fit responsibly within MSF's existing application landscape.

For Amsterdam-based candidates, this is a Dutch employment contract (40 hours/week), with a preferred start date of 1 October 2026. For Nairobi-based candidates, the employment offer will depend on applicable local terms and conditions.
A gross monthly salary ranging between €4,269 and €5,877 (full-time). The exact salary depends on relevant work experience.
