Yara International is seeking a Process Engineer for Nitric Acid and Utilities at the Sluiskil site in the Netherlands. The role focuses on safe, reliable production, optimizing operational parameters, and leading root-cause investigations to drive improvements.

You will participate in global Communities of Practice, support digital transformation and lean initiatives, and engage in on-duty coverage for Nitric Acid and Utilities units. Dutch and English fluency is required.

Formación

• Master degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Just graduated or first experience in Process Engineering for chemical plants.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and to travel for some extended periods.
• Excellent safety mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilidades

• Follow up day-to-day production units with focus on optimizing operational parameters for safe, reliable operations.
• Lead hands-on Root Cause Problem Solving to identify improvements and start optimization projects.
• Prepare modification projects and oversee commissioning before start-up.
• Participate in Yara’s technical Communities of Practice to share learnings worldwide.
• Contribute to digital transformation and lean implementation in operation teams.
• Be part of the on-duty system for Nitric Acid and Utilities units.

We are looking for a Process Engineer Nitric Acid and Utilities who is interested in developing as a process specialist at our Sluiskil site while also being open to take part in global initiatives and assignments during and after the training period.

What will your main responsibilities be?

As a Process Engineer you follow up the Day-to-day production units with focus on optimizing operational parameters to improve safe and reliable operations. You lead hands-on Root Cause Problem Solving to identify improvements and initiate optimization projects. Prepare modification projects and follow-up commissioning before start-up.

• You’ll active participation in Yara’s technical Communities of Practice to share learnings with colleagues around the whole world;
• Contribute to the digital transformation and lean implementation in the operation teams;
• Participate in the on-duty system for Nitric Acid and Utilities units.

You’ll make sure that all activities are being executed in conformance with Yara’s Values & Management system.
