Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Waiter for Private Events to join our events team on a flexible, on-call basis. You will deliver attentive service across intimate dinners, meetings, and celebrations, ensuring guests feel welcomed from arrival to departure.

Working closely with the Events, Kitchen and Front of House teams, you will help execute events to Soho House standards while maintaining hospitality excellence and a positive guest experience in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service-based roles is essential.
• Experience in events, banqueting, or high-volume service is a plus.
• Strong team communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and enthusiasm are required.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and professional service at private events.
• Work with Events, Kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Provide guests with welcoming and thoughtful experiences from arrival to departure.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Waiter for our Private Events to join our events team at Soho House Amsterdam, who is available on a 0H (on-call) contract.

From intimate private dinners and business meetings to large celebrations and exclusive parties, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences across a variety of events. You'll provide attentive and professional service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and looked after from arrival through to departure.

Working closely with the Events, Kitchen, and Front of House teams, you'll support the smooth execution of events while maintaining the high service standards Soho House is known for. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in dynamic environments and thrives in fast-paced service.
