Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer (European Timezone Only) to develop and lead statistical programming activities for clinical data. Responsibilities

  • Use SAS, or other software, to develop custom programming code for summary tables, listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the SAP and programming specs.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in developing statistical programs.
  • Collaborate with statisticians and stakeholders to address programming needs.
  • Act as lead statistical programmer and direct activities of other programmers; monitor progress.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and outputs; troubleshoot issues.
  • Mentor and train junior programmers; contribute to process improvements.
  • Design and implement efficient programming solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback for high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay updated with latest advancements and incorporate techniques into practice.

Job Responsibilities
  • Temporary assignment for 1.5 years
  • Must be eligible to work with no company provided sponsorship

  • Use SAS, or other software, to develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of statistical programs
  • Collaborate with statisticians and other stakeholders to understand and address their programming needs
  • Acts as the lead statistical programmer. Directs the programming activities of other programming personnel and monitors progress on programming deliverables.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and statistical outputs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues and challenges
  • Mentor and train junior programmers and other team members
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of programming processes and tools
  • Design and implement efficient programming solutions to meet project requirements

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in statistical programming and incorporate relevant techniques into practice
Qualifications

They have comprehensive knowledge and skills in their professional discipline and understand the impact of their work on related areas. Their contributions are crucial in designing, implementing, and delivering processes, programs, and policies.
