Edmund Optics BV in Best (near Eindhoven) is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support efficient warehouse operations, receiving, inspecting, and recording inbound inventory, and preparing, picking, and packing outbound orders with precision.

The role requires handling daily cycles, maintaining stock accuracy, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure on-time shipments. English fluency is essential; Dutch language ability is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position in Best, Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Ideally several years working experience in warehouse environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is nice to have).
• IT literacy: basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams and Excel, good working knowledge of SAP transactions.
• Able to follow safety rules and procedures.
• Pay attention to details, enabling high accuracy within all aspects.
• Able to work independently without supervision, and able to keep deadlines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow company guidelines and policies on warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a safe, efficient and tidy working area.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive inbound inventory, and accurately file the inventory in the stock room.
• Pick customer orders as required to fulfill 100% on-time shipments.
• Process all shipments through the required courier portals.
• Ensure that all orders are picked, confirmed, and completed at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders when requested.
• Report any problems to your manager in a timely manner.
• Comply with governmental and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations.
