Job summary

Single Quantum, based in Delft, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Mounting & Bonding team. You will handle detectors after fabrication, assemble detectors onto PCBs, and prepare PCBs with precision and care.

You will work closely with the Nanofabrication, Detector Testing and R&D teams, contributing to high-quality detectors for commercial and research use. Fluency in English and Dutch is required, and the role involves meticulous manual work under a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Perform the handover of incoming detectors from the nanofabrication team.
• Prepare printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Provide support to the Detector Testing and Nanofabrication teams.
• Optical assembling of detectors.
• Assemble fiber-coupled and flood-illumination detectors onto PCBs.
• Make electrical connections using the bonding machine.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality detectors to Production and R&D teams.
• Maintain and organise tools and consumables.
• Handle laboratory equipment responsibly and follow SOPs.
• Contribute to creation and updating of SOPs.
