Job summary

Tilburg University’s Department of Computational Cognitive Science invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher on the three-year VR-STRESS project. You will lead experimental and psychophysiological work to measure cognitive, emotional, and physiological states during immersive training using multimodal sensing and machine learning to adapt VR environments in real time.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and experience in experimental/psychophysiological studies.
• Experience with physiological measurements and multimodal data is essential.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct controlled experiments on stress, cognitive load, and human performance in VR.
• Develop multimodal physiological and behavioral measurement methods.
• Analyze multimodal datasets and relate physiological responses to performance and subjective measures.
• Collaborate across disciplines on ML, adaptive VR, and dissemination of results.
