Job summary

Postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft will develop a multi-fidelity framework to optimize aircraft engine integration, aerodynamic performance and aeroacoustics. You will work on integrating high-fidelity simulations with fast prediction methods and aeroacoustic models, collaborating with NLR and the Dutch DASAL initiative.

Qualifications

• PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and CFD.
• Experience with numerical simulations and computational methods for aerodynamic analysis.
• Familiar with CAD modelling software and its application to aerodynamic design.

Responsibilities

• Develop a multi-fidelity computational framework to optimize aircraft engine integration and aerodynamics.
• Advance aeroacoustic models and integrate with NLR tools.
• Collaborate with TU Delft, NLR and DASAL to deliver integrated tools and methodologies.
