Delft University of Technology's Interactive Intelligence Group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance explainable human behavior and affective predictions. You will study how multimodal AI can understand, explain and communicate predictions about human behaviour in trustworthy, high-impact settings.

You will collaborate across the EEMCS faculty with a focus on Vision-Language Models and interactive dialogues, contribute to the Hybrid Intelligence Centre, and enjoy

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Strong background in ML, AI explainability or HCI.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Investigate multimodal models for explainability and grounding.
• Develop interactive explanations in situated dialogue with human users.
• Collaborate with the Interactive Intelligence Group and Hybrid Intelligence Centre.
