Job summary

Tu Delft, Delft University of Technology, invites a postdoctoral researcher to advance multi-disciplinary design analysis and optimisation for floating wind farms. You will develop MDAO software and apply it to logistics and supply chain challenges across regions, collaborating with TU Delft and external partners within HybridLabs.

You’ll work in a diverse team, tackling technical and schedule risks while promoting European research engagement and outreach using the MDAO framework.

Qualifications

• PhD in system engineering, applied sciences, wind energy, or related field.
• Fundamental knowledge and application of MDAO.
• Experience with scientific computing and programming (Python).
• Familiarity with offshore/floating wind energy supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate the MDAO software.
• Apply MDAO to assess logistical aspects of large-scale floating wind farms.
• Analyze supply chain requirements and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate across institutions within HybridLabs.
