Job summary

TU Delft is seeking a Postdoc in Natural Fiber Composites with recyclable resins to contribute to the COMPOCYCLE consortium. The project aims to deliver 100% biobased, recyclable, thermosetting fibre composites that meet industrial needs.

The role focuses on processing, ageing, and recycling of natural-fibre composites using vitrimer polyester resins in a multidisciplinary setting. You will investigate curing behavior, impregnation, and the impact of chemical/physical ageing on recyclability,

Qualifications

• PhD in composite/processing engineering or related field.
• Experience with natural-fibre or thermoset/thermoplastic composites.
• Knowledge of dynamic polymers and recycling.
• Experience with curing and rheological characterization.
• Strong scientific writing and oral communication.
