Job summary

GP Solution in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced port operations worker for a bulk terminal in the Second Maasvlakte area. You will support loading, unloading, and storage of dry bulk goods and general cargo, and work across terminal operations and cargo handling.

The role requires at least two years in port logistics, experience with heavy equipment, and Dutch language knowledge. A full-time 3-shift schedule applies, with training opportunities and long-term potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of port logistics experience.
• Experience operating machines or heavy equipment.
• Willingness to obtain relevant certificates.
• Willingness to work full-time in a 3-shift system.
• Dutch language proficiency.
• Own transport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ships.
• Operate bobcat and shovel to move bulk goods and cargo.
• Transport goods with a terminal tractor.
• Perform forklift work in the warehouse and on site.
• Support daily terminal operations and logistics processes.
• Develop into roles such as reach stacker or excavator operator.
