Job summary

Martinus College in Grootebroek zoekt een Beleidsadviseur Onderwijs en Kwaliteit voor 24–32 uur per week (0,6–0,8 fte). Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt onderwijsbeleid en kwaliteitszorg, adviseert het management en vertaalt analyseresultaten naar concrete verbeteracties.

Je werkt nauw samen met schoolleiders en collega’s om beleid land te laten maken, verantwoording af te leggen en duurzame verbeteringen te realiseren binnen de organisatie.

Qualifications

• Uitgebreide kennis van onderwijsbeleid en ontwikkeling en de relevante wetten en regelgeving.
• Kennis van kwaliteitszorg en het inspectiekader van de onderwijsinspectie.
• Kennis van het ontwikkelen, motiveren en bepleiten van beleid en het verwerken van verschillende belangen in advies.
• In staat complexe analyses om te zetten in duidelijke adviezen en concrete acties.

Responsibilities

• Ontwikkelen en evalueren van beleid, analyses maken en vertalen naar duidelijke beleidskeuzes en concrete verbeteracties.
• Advies geven aan de CEO-directeur, schoolleiders en collega’s; scenarios en risico’s bespreken ter onderbouwing van besluiten.
• Zorg dragen dat beleid landt in de organisatie en dat verbeteringen daadwerkelijk worden doorgevoerd en duurzaam geborgd.
• Samenwerking zoeken met verschillende disciplines en perspectieven bundelen tot werkbare oplossingen.

Job description

We are looking for a Policy Adviser for Education and Quality for 24 – 32 hours per week (0.6000 – 0.8000 FTE).

Your role:

As a Policy Advisor for Education and Quality, you play an important role in the sustainable improvement and safeguarding of educational quality within the Martinuscollege.

You are our subject matter expert and strategic partner in the fields of education, quality development and quality assurance. Appropriate and inclusive education is one of the areas you will be working on.

You develop and evaluate policy, analyse developments and data, and translate these into clear policy choices and concrete improvement actions. In doing so, you look beyond the here and now: you understand the bigger picture, think ahead and know what long-term choices might entail.

You advise the CEO-director, school leaders and other colleagues both solicited and unsolicited. You prepare decision-making by making scenarios, risks and consequences transparent, and know how to reduce complex issues to their essence.

At the same time, you have both feet firmly planted in everyday practice. You genuinely help policy land within the organisation, encourage innovation and improvement, and ensure that results are not only achieved, but also sustainably embedded. The quality cycle of analysis, policy, implementation, evaluation and adjustment is in safe hands with you.

What do you bring?

• You have extensive knowledge of educational policy and development and the relevant laws and regulations.
• In addition, you have knowledge of quality assurance and the inspection framework of the education inspectorate.
• You can develop, justify and advocate policy, and know how to incorporate various interests and perspectives into your advice.
• More importantly, you are someone who thinks, connects and acts. You see what is needed, know how to ask the right questions and are able to translate a complex analysis into clear advice and a concrete course of action.
