Responsibilities

• Implement Power Apps governance strategy and move teams to enterprise environments with CI registration and SRMP alignment.
• Translate compliance and guardrails into technical controls, templates, and decision criteria for citizen developers.
• Maintain platform health by updating DevOps pipelines, gateway servers, NPAs, and monitoring vulnerability dashboards.
• Extend governance thinking to Power BI, Fabric, and Copilot Studio and shape governance from scratch.

Power Platform Security & Governance Engineer

Amsterdam, hybrid | 36 hours | 12 month | payroll | English speaking team

One of the largest Dutch banks is looking for a Power Platform Security & Governance Engineer for their Digital Collaboration Experience team.

Quick warning about the title. This is not a classic DevOps job and it is not an app building job. The bank has more than 800 Power Platform environments in use. Somebody has to decide what "safe" looks like on that platform and then actually build it. That somebody is you.

What you will be doing

You take the new Power Apps Governance Strategy and make it real. The first job is helping teams move out of Teams environments into Enterprise environments, which means CI registration, SRMP alignment and getting the security requirements met without blocking people.

From there you translate compliance, security and IT guardrails into technical controls, templates and decision criteria that a citizen developer can actually follow. You also keep the platform backend healthy: updating DevOps pipelines and gateway servers, maintaining NPAs, watching the vulnerability dashboards and supporting the release calendar.

Once Power Apps is under control, the same governance thinking goes to Power BI, Fabric and Copilot Studio. You get to shape that from scratch.

What they are asking for

Hands-on Power Platform administration or engineering. Not advising from a distance. Think Power Platform Admin Center, Managed Environments, DLP policies, Dataverse and environment strategy.

Knowledge of compliance, security, SRMP, controls or risk management on enterprise platforms. A working understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, IAM, RBAC, DLP and cloud security. Fluent English, because that is the team language.

Experience with the bank's own "in control" processes is a plus, not a must. Same for Power BI, Fabric and Copilot Studio governance.
