JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is seeking a Plant Initiative Lead to join the Planning & Logistics team in Joure. You will report to the Manager Planning & Logistics and drive multiple improvement projects across production and supply chains.

You bring proven project management, strong prioritization and time management, and excellent communication when collaborating with colleagues at all levels. Familiarity with JDE and KBU processes is preferred.

Where will you work?

As a Plant Initiative Lead, you will be part of the enthusiastic Planning & Logistics team, consisting of a logistics engineer, warehouse team leader, delivery planners, production schedulers, and material planners. In this role, you report to the Manager Planning & Logistics.

In Joure, Egbert Douwes and his wife Akke Thijsses opened their grocery store De Witte Os on the Midstraat in 1753, laying the foundation for what is now Douwe Egberts. To this day, two of our most important factories - producing coffee and tea - are still located here.

The position is classified in job grade10 under the Coffee & Tea collective labor agreement (CAO).
