Radboud University in Nijmegen invites applications for a PhD position focused on Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation and Computational Affective Neuroscience within the HEART2ADAPT ERC project. The role involves protocol development, data collection and computational modelling of behavioural and neural data, including offline and MR-compatible online TUS.

• Master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience or adjacent field.
• Experience with fMRI or MEG analyses and related software.
• Experience in non-invasive neuromodulation (preferably TUS) or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork in academia; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to protocol development, data collection and computational modelling.
• Apply transcranial ultrasound stimulation to key neural nodes.
• Mentor BSc/MSc students and collaborate across Donders Institute and BIS teams.
