Job summary

Utrecht University seeks a PhD candidate for a project on the implementation and effectiveness of school-based interventions aimed at promoting social safety. You will set up, analyze, and disseminate results using both quantitative and qualitative methods, collaborating with schools, program developers and policy makers.

The role requires a completed master’s degree in educational sciences or related fields, strong statistical analysis skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as educational sciences, pedagogy or developmental psychology.
• Affinity with quantitative research including statistical analysis of longitudinal datasets; interest in qualitative research.

Responsibilities

• Set up, analyze and disseminate results of the project on implementation and effectiveness of school-based interventions.
• Conduct meta-analysis mapping existing literature and role of implementation in effectiveness.
• Collaborate with schools, program developers, and policy makers to translate findings into practice.
