Job summary

Universiteit Utrecht, through IRAS, is offering a PhD position to investigate how environmental pesticide exposure affects cognition and school performance in children. You will link biomonitoring data with brain function tests and apply geospatial exposure estimates to national school results in a longitudinal framework.

The work requires a strong epidemiology background and solid R programming skills, within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment in the One Health Chemical group.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in epidemiology or related discipline.
• Experience with quantitative methods to quantify health factors.
• Solid background in epidemiological study designs and methods.
• Proficiency in R.

Responsibilities

• Analyze biomonitoring data linked to child cognition.
• Apply geospatial exposure estimates to national school results.
• Use mixture modelling to estimate combined exposure effects over time.
