Job summary

Delft University of Technology invites applications for a PhD position on the Twin Transition of Infrastructure: Paradoxical Leadership. The project investigates how infrastructure leaders navigate tensions between digitalisation and sustainability in strategic and day-to-day decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in leadership, organisational change, digitalisation, sustainability and infrastructure.
• Affinity with empirical research methods: qualitative interviews, case studies, observations, document analysis; ethnographic work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct longitudinal embedded case study within the Dutch infrastructure domain.
• Perform qualitative interviews, observations and document analysis; participate in fieldwork.
• Publish results in journals and present at conferences; engage with stakeholders through workshops and knowledge-sharing events.
