Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands is inviting a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering to advance theory, numerics, and experiments on dynamically modulated structures and nonreciprocal photonics. The role includes on-chip fabrication and characterization, with secondments to INESC MN for component measurements and PICadvanced for chip-level integration.

Starting date: February 2027.

Responsabilités

• Design dynamically modulated, on-chip metamaterials for nonreciprocal photonic devices
• Fabricate on-chip structures using advanced nanolithography techniques
• Demonstrate and evaluate nonreciprocal light transport without magnetic fields, and its integration into photonic circuits
