Qualifications

  • MSc degree in physics, optics, photonics, nanoscience, or related field.
  • Laboratory experience in optics or photonics is preferred but not required.
  • Interest in nonlinear dynamics, condensed-matter physics, or stochastic processes is valued.
  • Methods will be learned during the project.

Responsibilities

  • Characterize the spectral and temporal response near the phase transition.
  • Perform optical cavity measurements and materials characterization.
  • Combine experiments with modelling, statistics, and simulations to identify governing mechanisms.
