Job summary

TU Delft's Embedded Systems group within EEMCS invites applications for a PhD candidate position focused on next-generation wireless communications and sensing, including terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. Qualifications

  • MSc in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong foundation in wireless communications, signal processing, or networking.
  • Interest in terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks (TN/NTN) and related areas.
  • Experience with software-defined radio platforms (USRP) or related tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in an international, multidisciplinary research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cutting-edge research on next-generation wireless communication and sensing systems.
  • Collaborate with European partners and publish in top conferences and journals.
  • Participate in TU Delft's doctoral training and development programmes and engage in international secondments where applicable.
